Patricia opened the law firm in 1986. For almost four decades, she has served clients in all areas of family law from uncontested to complex cases through individual representation and as a trained mediator and arbiter and special master.

Patricia received her law degree from University of Denver Sturm School of Law. She graduated from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado (Cum Laude).

She is admitted to practice in Colorado and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association; the El Paso County Bar Association; the El Paso County Women Lawyers Association; the Colorado Women’s Bar Association; and the Ben S. Wendelken Inns of Court.

Patricia served as President of the El Paso County Bar Association in 2016; President of the El Paso County Women Lawyers Association 1995-96; and Trustee for the Colorado Bar Association Board of Governors on behalf of the El Paso County Bar 2005-08.

Patricia received the Anderson Award from the El Paso County Bar Association in 2023 for demonstrating a high level of professionalism, integrity and competence in the practice of family law.
She previously received the Portia Award from the El Paso County Bar Association in 2008 for outstanding woman lawyer’s services to the community. In 1996, Patricia received the Most Valuable El Paso County Affiliate from the Colorado Women’s Bar Association.

Patrcia is also a presenter on domestic relations and ethics topics.
